Big Things Are Happening!

For the school year of 2023-2024 in the student ministry we tried something new, we changed our schedule. Instead of having our regular Wednesday nights every week we started having event nights thrown into the mix. The week after ending one of our sermon series we would have a night where the students were encouraged to invite their friends to a fun event. With guests coming to these events we were able to meet them and encourage them to return the next week when we would be in a new sermon series. 

These events have included a silent disco, and our Ninja warrior event, etc. The events proved to be successful as our students went into their schools and invited other students to attend. Over the school year we saw 15 plus new students and most of them returned the following weeks. 

God is doing something big in the life of Shady Oaks and as your student minister I am ready for it. My prayer is that you are ready and expecting God to do big things.
